India, the way we show our friends

Be In India was founded by Mayank Saxena, Anusha Mohan and Anita Kumar: three travellers brought together by a love of exploring India and sharing it with others.

It started long before Be In India

We spent years travelling across the country: world-famous monuments and hidden villages, family-run restaurants, busy local markets and royal palaces, the experiences that rarely appear in guidebooks.

Whenever friends from the United States or the United Kingdom visited India, they asked to travel with us. Many planned their holidays around our travel dates, because they knew we would show them an India they could not find on their own.

We didn’t just take them to the Taj Mahal. We introduced them to India’s living culture.

They learned local customs, tasted regional cooking, met artisans, explored markets, joined celebrations and felt the warmth of Indian hospitality. Above all, they were never rushed: every journey was planned so they could enjoy each place, in real comfort.

Those journeys became Be In India. Our aim is simple: to help you experience the real India without giving up comfort, luxury or peace of mind.

Our philosophy

True luxury means having the time to appreciate a sunrise over the Taj Mahal, not rushing between attractions.

It is travelling at the right pace, with the right people, while every detail is taken care of: long conversations over regional cooking, centuries-old streets with guides who know them, nights in heritage palaces, and none of the logistics.

What makes us different

The three of us

Mayank, Anusha and Anita founded Be In India, and between them they write our journal. Read what each has to say before you travel.

Experience India, not just visit it

Whether you are watching the light change on the Taj Mahal, sharing a Rajasthani dinner inside a royal palace, crossing Lake Pichola or learning to cook a family recipe, we want you to leave with more than photographs: with memories, friendships and a real connection to India.
