An experience I will carry for the rest of my life

From the moment we landed to the farewell dinner, every single detail was taken care of. The Taj at sunrise, the fort in Jodhpur, the boat on Lake Pichola. I have travelled a lot and this was genuinely unlike anything else.

Flawlessly organised, deeply personal

I was nervous about travelling to India for the first time. Be In India made everything effortless. The guides were extraordinary, the hotels were beautiful, and the itinerary struck the perfect balance between culture and rest.

The Chokhi Dhani evening was pure magic

We had done group tours before but nothing came close to this. The saree experience in Udaipur, the camel at sunset, the rooftop dinner with the Taj in the distance. Worth every penny and then some.

Exactly what I was hoping India would feel like

The pacing was perfect. Not too rushed, not too slow. I loved that we had time to actually absorb each city. The Mehrangarh Fort walk with our guide was one of the best hours I have ever spent anywhere.

Book it. Just book it.

I went solo and was nervous about fitting in with a group. Within a day we were all friends. The team is warm, attentive and clearly love what they do. India can feel overwhelming to plan alone – this makes it completely accessible.

Common questions

The things travellers ask us most before they book. Anything else, ask us directly and a real person will answer.

Ask us a question

How far in advance should I book my India trip?

We recommend booking at least 3 to 4 months ahead, especially for peak-season travel between October and March. Popular routes like our Golden Triangle tour and Rajasthan tours fill quickly. That said, we can often arrange bespoke journeys with as little as 4 weeks' notice.

Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?

Absolutely. Whether you follow a vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other specific diet, we make sure your meals are thoughtfully planned throughout your India tour. Just let us know your preferences before you travel, and we'll take care of the details.

What is the best time of year to visit India?

October through March is ideal for most of India: cool, dry and perfect for sightseeing in Rajasthan and the Golden Triangle. The Himalayan regions of Ladakh and Spiti are best visited between June and September. Kerala and the south can be enjoyed year-round, and the monsoon brings its own lush beauty.

Do I need a visa to visit India?

Most nationalities require a visa to enter India. The e-Visa is available online and covers tourism, business and medical purposes. We guide every client through the application process and recommend applying at least 4 days before departure.

What level of accommodation do you work with?

We specialise in heritage properties, boutique palace hotels and curated luxury stays. Our partners include properties from the Taj, Oberoi and SUJÁN collections, as well as independently owned havelis and wildlife lodges that cannot be booked through standard channels.

Is India safe for solo travellers and families?

India is welcoming to both solo travellers and families when journeys are well planned. We provide private transfers, vetted guides and 24-hour in-country support throughout your trip, and brief every traveller on cultural etiquette, local customs and practical safety before departure.
